Terms and Conditions
The rules that apply when you buy from 55° candles, who you are contracting with, and what you can expect from us.

1. Who we are
This website is operated by ВиреонЛабс ЕООД (VireonLabs EOOD), ЕИК 208907603, trading as 55° candles. Our full identification and contact details are set out below and in the footer of every page.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to every order placed through this website. By placing an order you confirm you have read and accepted them. They form part of the contract between you and us, alongside the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Right of Withdrawal and the Delivery Information.
3. Products
We sell decorative scented candles with hand-sculpted wax fruit. The wax fruit is decorative and is not food. Product photographs are representative; because each candle is finished by hand, small variations in colour and shape are normal and are not a defect.
4. Prices
All prices are in euro (EUR) and are shown per item. The company is not registered for VAT, so prices contain no VAT and no VAT is added to them. Prices exclude delivery charges unless stated otherwise. The delivery charge and the cash-on-delivery fee are shown before you confirm your order.
5. How a contract is formed
Adding products to the basket and reaching the checkout is not an order. A contract is formed only once you confirm your order and we send you written confirmation to the email address you gave. Until then there is no contract and you owe nothing. If we cannot fulfil an order — because a candle has run out, or the delivery details are incomplete — we will email or call you before confirming it, and you will owe nothing.
6. Payment
Payment is by cash on delivery only: you pay the courier in cash when the parcel is handed to you. We do not accept card payments, so card details are never entered on this site. The fee the courier charges for collecting the money is ours to pay — we add nothing above the amount shown as "Total to pay" before you confirm your order.
7. Delivery
Delivery areas, carriers, timescales and charges are set out in our Delivery Information, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. How to do this, and the standard withdrawal form, are set out in our Right of Withdrawal and Returns page.
9. Faulty or non-conforming goods
You have a statutory right to goods that conform to the contract. If they do not, you may claim a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund, in the order and on the conditions set by Bulgarian consumer law. This right lasts two years from delivery and is separate from, and additional to, your right of withdrawal. See our Complaints page.
10. Safe use
Candles are an open flame. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable, and follow the instructions on the product and on our Candle Care page.
11. Your personal data
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Placing an order requires us to process your name, contact details and delivery address in order to perform the contract.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
Please contact us first — most questions are settled quickly. If we cannot agree, you may complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg) or ask for the dispute to be heard, free of charge, by a conciliation commission attached to it. None of this takes away your right to go to a Bulgarian court.
13. The content of this site
The photographs, text, logo and design of this site are ours and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to look at them and to share links to our pages. Copying them for commercial purposes — for another shop or listing, say — needs our written permission. The names of the couriers and other companies mentioned in these terms belong to their respective owners.
14. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Nothing in them limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Bulgarian or EU law. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and we keep the date of the last change at the top of this page.
